为提升我校研究生课程体系国际化程度,加快我校研究生教育国际化进程,增强研究生创新意识与创新能力,培养具有国际视野的高质量人才,由bat365在线平台官方网站主办、化学学院承办的2023年研究生国际暑期学校——化学分校于20230710日至18日在bat365在线平台官方网站新校区化学馆化学学院学术报告厅(208室)举行。通过聘请国内外知名学者讲授(全英授课)学术前沿课程和专业基础课程,实现优质教学资源共享,为研究生搭建夯实专业基础、提高研究水平、培养创新能力的国际交流平台。

The Chemistry Branch of 2023 Graduate International Summer School will be held from July 10th to 18th, 2023 in the Academic Report Hall (Room 208) of the College of Chemistry, at Zhengzhou University's New Campus. The summer school is hosted by the Graduate School of Zhengzhou University, and sponsored by the College of Chemistry. The objectives are promoting the internationalization degree of graduate curriculum system, speeding up the internationalization process of graduate education, enhancing the innovative mind and ability of graduate students, and cultivating high-quality talents with international perspective.

The summer school will employ well-known scholars at home and abroad to teach academic frontier courses and professional basic courses in English language. The purposes are to realize the sharing of high-quality teaching resources and build an international exchange platform for postgraduates to consolidate their professional foundation, improve their research level and cultivate their innovative ability.

一、招生对象及要求

Recruitment Objects and Requirements

全体在读博士研究生和硕士研究生(包括科学学位和专业学位的博士、硕士研究生)。因全程采用英语授课,要求学员英语功底好,原则上要求本科生英语通过CET4以上,研究生英语通过CET6以上,且具有英语听课的适应能力。


The following students are welcomed to the summer school: postgraduates of the College of Chemistry at Zhengzhou University; postgraduates of related majors at Zhengzhou University). Because the courses are taught in English, students are required to have a good understanding of English language. In principle, undergraduates should have passed CET4 or above, and postgraduates should have passed CET6 or above, and have the ability to adapt to the teaching in English.

张其春博士1970年出生,江苏高邮人。1988年江苏省扬州中学毕业,1992年南京大学本科分析专业毕业,1998年中科院北京化学所物理化学硕士毕业,2003年美国加州大学洛杉矶分校 (University of California, Los Angeles)有机化学硕士毕业, 2007年在美国加州大学河滨分校 (University of California, Riverside)无机化学博士毕业,2007-2008年美国西北大学(Northwestern University)做博士后, 2009年受聘于新加坡南洋理工大学材料科学与工程学院助理教授。20143,晋升为新加坡南洋理工大学材料科学与工程学院副教授 (终身职位)201412月受聘于新加坡南洋理工大学数理学院副教授。2020年九月受聘于香港城市大学大学材料科学与工程学院终身教授。2015年成为固态化学副主编。2021年成为SUSMAT副主编。2017年当选为英国化学会会士。2016年成为材料化学前沿,无机化学前沿,亚洲化学,和材料化学(C, JMCC)顾问委员会成员。2019年,Materials Advances编辑委员会成员, 2020年,Aggregate编辑委员会成员。2023年,中国科学材料编辑委员会成员.研究兴趣包括富碳材料的合成和应用。20182019202020212022全球高倍引作者之一。目前已在Nature Chem.Nature Commun, Joule, J. Dr. Qichun Zhang obtained his B.S. at Nanjing University in China in 1992, MS in physical organic chemistry (organic solid lab) at Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1998, MS in organic chemistry at University of California, Los Angeles (USA), and completed his Ph.D. in chemistry at University of California Riverside in 2007. Then, he joined Prof. Kanatzidis’ group at Northwestern University as a Postdoctoral Fellow (Oct. 2007 –Dec. 2008). Since Jan. 2009, he joined School of Materials Science and Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU, Singapore) as an Assistant Professor. On Mar 1st, 2014, he has promoted to Associate Professor with tenure. On Sep 1st 2020, he moved to Department of Materials Science and Engineering at City University of Hong Kong as a tenured full professor. Currently, he is an associate editor of J. Solid State Chemistry and SusMat, the International Advisory Board member of Chemistry – An Asian Journal (2018-2021), Editorial Board member of Chemistry – An Asian Journal (2022 -), the Advisory board member of Journal of Materials Chemistry C, the Advisory board member of Materials Chemistry Frontiers, the Advisory board member of Inorganic Chemistry Frontiers, the Advisory board member of Aggerate, and the Advisory board member of Materials Advances and Science China Materials. Also, he is Guest Editors of CCS Chemistry (2020-2021), Advanced Materials (2020-2021), J Mater Chem C (2020-2021, 2017-2018), Mater. Chem Front (2019-2020), Inorganic Chemistry Frontiers (2016-2017, 2017-2018). In 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022, he has been recognized as one of highly-cited researchers (top 1%) in cross-field in Clarivate Analytics. He is a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. Currently, his research focuses on carbon-rich conjugated materials and their applications. Till now, he has published 505 papers and 10 patents (H-index: 106).

Selected as a Young Changjiang Scholar, Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and 2022 Top 2 % of the world's top scientists. Focus on the battery system with high resource abundance and low cost, conduct research on the design and synthesis of key electrode materials, separators, and electrolytes, as well as interface control. Relevant research results have been published as first or corresponding author in Chem. Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. Adv Mater. Nat. Commun. Adv. Energy Mater. Adv. Funct. Mater. More than 100 academic papers have been published in international and domestic journals such as Nano Res. J. Energy Chem and Sci. China Mater., with more than 7, 500 citations from SCIE, an H index of 50, and 16 highly cited papers. Authorized 26 Chinese invention patents and applied for 2 PCT patents: participated in the writing of some chapters and sections in the bookHandbook of Sodium-ion Batteries Materials and Characterizations. Presided over 5 National Natural Science Foundation projects and many provincial and horizontal projects. 3)杜景祯

杜景祯,学科特聘教授,博士生导师,国家自然科学基金优秀青年科学基金项目(海外)获得者(2022)。2020 01月在英国曼彻斯特大学化学系放射性化学研究中心获得博士学位,合作导师为Steve Liddle教授,之后在该中心继续从事博士后研究工作。20235月加入bat365在线平台官方网站化学学院任学科特聘教授。主要从事过渡金属和锕系元素分子配合物化学的基础研究,侧重于含有锕系金属(Th/U)与主族元素(C/N/P/As/Sb/Bi)分子配合物的设计合成、分离表征、电子结构、反应性及其在小分子活化中的应用。部分研究成果以第一作者身份发表在 Nat. Commun.3J. Am. Chem. Soc.3Angew. Chem. Int. Ed3Chem. Sci.1)等期刊上。未来,杜景祯团队将继续探索锕系元素的基础化学并开发它们在新催化体系、小分子活化、分子光磁学等方面更加广泛的应用。


Jingzhen Du, Distinguished Professor and PhD supervisor at College of Chemistry, Zhengzhou University. National Natural Science Fund for Excellent Young Scientists Fund Program (Overseas) winner (2022). In January 2020, he received his PhD degree at the Department of Chemistry and Centre for Radiochemistry Research, The University of Manchester, UK, under the supervision of Prof. Steve Liddle, after that, he continued his Postdoctoral research at the same place. In May 2023, he joined the College of Chemistry, Zhengzhou University, as a Distinguished Professor. His research is focused on the fundamental chemistry of transition metal and actinide molecular complexes, particularly on the design, synthesis, isolation, characterization, electronic structure, and reactivity of molecules containing actinide metals (Th/U) with main group ligands (C/N/P/As/Sb/Bi), and their applications in small molecule activation. Some results have been published as the first author in chemistry journals such as Nat. Commun. (3), J. Am. Chem. Soc. (3), Angew. Chem. In. Ed. (3), Chem. Sci. (1). In the future, his team will continue to investigate the fundamental chemistry of actinides and explore their applications in new catalytic systems, small molecule activation, molecular photomagnetism etc in a wider scope.


4於晓亮

於晓亮博士分别于2011年和2016年在清华大学材料学院获得本科和博士学位,随后在日本国立材料科学研究院从事博士后研究。20207月起,加入香港理工大学建立先进电池材料与器件研究室,任独立PI,助理教授(研究),博士生导师。课题组现有六名博士生(其中三名校长奖学金获得者)和两名博士后,研究方向主要包括新型电池电极、电解液制备和先进器件研发,已获得香港和内地科研经费资助500余万元。近五年以来,在包括 Adv. Mater, Adv. Energy Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater., Nano Energy, Energy Storage Mater., InfoMat 等刊物上发表论文30余篇。

Dr. Xiaoliang Yu received his undergraduate and doctoral degrees from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Tsinghua University in 2011 and 2016, respectively, and then engaged in postdoctoral research at the National Institute for Materials Science in Japan. Since July 2020, he has joined the Hong Kong Polytechnic University to establish the Advanced Battery Materials and Devices Laboratory as an independent PI, assistant professor (research), and doctoral supervisor. The research team currently has six doctoral students (including three Presidential Scholarship winners) and two postdoctoral fellows and has received research funding of more than 5 M yuan from both Hong Kong and the Mainland. The research directions mainly include advanced battery electrode/electrolyte preparation and device fabrication. In the past five years, he has published more than 30 papers in journals including Adv. Mater, Adv. Energy Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater., Nano Energy, Energy Storage Mater., InfoMat, etc.


5)卢思宇

卢思宇,教授, 博士生导师,国家优青,河南省高层次人才,bat365在线平台官方网站化学学院碳点研究中心主任,bat365在线平台官方网站化学学院能源化学研究所副所长。主要从事碳点的可控制备及其在发光、生物和催化等领域的应用研究。在Nat. Commun. (1), Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (11), and Adv. Mater. Dr. Siyu Lu is a full professor of Chemistry at Zhengzhou University, China. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry (2016) under the supervision of Prof. Bai Yang from Jilin University. He was awarded the "Outstanding Youth Fund" of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (2021). His research focuses on the design, synthesis, and understanding the underlying physics and chemistry mechanism of photoelectric nanocrystals and their applications in catalysis, fluorescence, and optoelectronic devices. He developed a synthesis strategy for carbon dots based on the synergistic effects from the carbon core and the surface micro/nano-structures, enabling precise energy band modulation. Additionally, he discovered a “hybrid core and polymer shell” structural model and revealed the relationship and universal principles among the carbon core, surface, and luminesces of CDs. Furthermore, he developed a tuning strategy for “CDs and nanocrystalline composite materials” and unveiled how CDs help to suppress the aggerate of nanomaterials in electrocatalytic reaction, which significantly improved the efficiency of hydrogen elevation reaction. Dr. Lu has published over 200 papers in peer-reviewed international journals, including Nat. Commun. (1), Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (11), and Adv Mater (7), among others, with total citations exceeding 17000, H-index 76. Among them, 55 papers were selected as a highly cited paper by Essential Science Indicators. He has served as the Associate Editor for Chinese Journal of Chemistry and Luminescence, and the Youth editorial board members for Energy & Environmental Materials, SmartMat, Science China Chemistry, Nano Research, and Rare Metals.

Dr. Xiaolan Chen is a professor of chemistry at Zhengzhou University. She is a member of the Phosphorus Chemistry Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society (CCS), high-level talent of Henan Province, member of the Professor Committee of the College of Chemistry at Zhengzhou University. Professor Chen’s research interests are organophosphorus chemistry, green organic synthesis, and the development of new synthetic methodologies concerning building C-P bonds, C-C bonds, C-S bonds, C-N bonds, and C-O bonds. She has been funded by various foundations, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Outstanding Young Talents of Henan Provincial, Henan Science and Technology Innovation Talents Program, Zhengzhou Science and Technology Leading Talents, and so on. She is also a professional organic chemistry teacher with over 30 years teaching and tutoring experience. Her teaching exploration and reform in bilingual organic chemistry has been funded by two national teaching foundations of China. She has published more than 150 peer-reviewed papers, including "J. 黄仁武,bat365在线平台官方网站化学学院特聘教授,博士生导师, 2018年博士毕业于bat365在线平台官方网站化学学院无机化学专业,20189月至20231月在沙特阿拉伯阿卜杜拉国王科技大学Osman M. Bakr 教授课题组从事博士后研究,并于20199月在美国加州大学伯克利分校Omar M. Yaghi 教授课题组做短期学术访问。2022年入选国家自然科学基金优秀青年科学基金项目(海外)。20232月入职bat365在线平台官方网站化学学院。主要研究方向为金属纳米团簇的精准合成、表/界面功能化、多维可控组装及其荧光传感和催化性能研究。已在Nat. Chem., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem., Adv. Ren-Wu Huang, professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of Chemistry, Zhengzhou University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the College of Chemistry, Zhengzhou University in 2018. From September 2018 to January 2023, he conducted postdoctoral research in Professor Osman M. Bakr’s group at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia. In September, 2019, he went to the University of California, Berkeley, United State for a short-term academic visiting program in Professor Omar M. Yaghi’s group. In 2022, he was selected for the Excellent Young Science Fund (oversea) by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. In February 2023, he joined the College of Chemistry, Zhengzhou University.

His main research focuses on the precise synthesis, surface/interfacial functionalization, multidimensional controllable assembly, and fluorescence sensing and catalytic properties of metal nanoclusters. He has published more than 20 papers in internationally renowned journals, including Nat. Chem., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem., Adv. Sci., ACS Materials Lett., Nanoscale, among others.


8)王庆

王庆博士是新加坡国立大学Dean’s Chair Associate Professor。他2002年于中科院物理所获得凝聚态物理博士学位,2003-2008在瑞士联邦理工学院(洛桑,EPFL)以及美国可再生能源国家实验室(NREL)从事博士后研究。2008年到新加坡国立大学材料科学与工程系工作。多年来致力于能量转换和储存体系中的介观电荷传输研究,特别在纳米晶光电化学体系中的电荷转移动力学方面做了系统性工作。近年来在新加坡国立研究基金会的资助下,建立了基于氧化还原靶向反应的研究平台,为规模化的能量储存和转换、退役电池材料的循环利用等提供了新的研究思路。

Summary: The short course on the “thermodynamics of electrochemical systems” consists of two parts, covering the fundamentals of electrochemical cells at equilibrium state and applications of the concepts in various electrochemical systems.


Part I: Thermodynamic basis of electrolyte, electrochemical half-cell, and full cell.

Part II: Thermodynamic analysis of electrochemical systems with case studies.


Dr. Qing Wang is a Dean’s Chair Associate Professor at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, National University of Singapore. He obtained his PhD in Physics at Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2002. Before he moved to Singapore, he had worked in École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland, and National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), USA, on mesoscopic photoelectrochemical cells. His research interest is “Charge Transport in Mesoscopic Energy Conversion and Storage Systems”. Currently his group is extensively working on a new research platform — redox-mediated electrified chemistry, with the implementation of the redox-targeting concept to a wide variety of battery chemistries and energy materials for advanced energy related applications.

以上学生经考核合格,顺利结业的学生可获暑期学校结业证书,本校研究生并获得必修课程《国际学术交流(博士)》的1个学分。

Students who pass the examination and successfully graduate can get the summer school completion certificate. The graduate students in Zhengzhou University could also get one credits to offset the credits of related elective courses.
